INDIGENOUS
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
 Indigenous
people make up almost 10% of the population in Woolloomooloo
and Glebe. Through our Aboriginal Community Development program,
we seek to develop relationships amongst the Aboriginal Community
both those in housing and the homeless through visitation, outings
and referrals to appropriate services. We aim to foster leadership
and strengthen the indigenous community.
Currently our work is
focused in Woolloomooloo but we are seeking support to extend into
Glebe where many Indigenous families are under great stress.
