HOPESTREET- Urban Compassion is involved in:

Community Projects

- empowering the most marginalised toward independence for themselves and care for their community.  Currently our projects include:

• Community Development among Public Housing Residents

• Community Building with Indigenous People

• Employment Training for the long-term Unemployed

• Semi-supported Accommodation for Homeless People

• Counselling and Group Support for Problem Gamblers

• Support for Street-Based Female Sex Workers

• Individual and Relationship Counselling
  

Urban Education

- keeping business, schools and churches in touch with urban issues and theology and offering training in urban ministry.

Church Planting

- building Christian communities responsive to local needs and relvant to local culture in Woolloomooloo, Glebe  and Surry Hills/ Darlinghurst.
