WOOLOOMOOLOO
BAPTIST FELLOWSHIP

The Church

WBF meets in the open air in front of the Supermarket in Tom Uren Place at the heart of Woolloomooloo. This is a church open at the edges. All kinds of people find welcome and a home here. We especially relate to our local community and Sydney's 'homeless'. Our small worshiping group seeks to embrace people by serving, listening and relationship building. In our worship times we enjoy learning and growing together through story telling and participation. In 2008 our theme 'Traveling Light' will see us exploring the Sermon on the Mount and its impact for a 21st Century spirituality. Issued raised by the gathered community will give us focus. For us the rhythms of worship are enhanced as we listen to each other's life turining points, share in healing services and sometimes watch a film together and discuss it over lunch.
